Hi, I’m Jade. So happy you’re here!
My path to becoming a Birth Doula and a Fertility and Pregnancy Nutrition Consultant has been quite an adventure. When I was just 10 years old, I was in the delivery room with my aunt and experienced her give birth to my cousin. Being there sparked my fascination with the natural process of childbirth and the amazingness of the female body!
As I grew up, I spent many years babysitting and nannying, excited for the day I would start my own family. After earning my degree in Graphic Design, I spent my twenties traveling the world, embracing exciting design roles, and enjoying time with friends and family.
When I turned 30, I began dating my best friend from work (yep, we’re that couple), who had two wonderful girls I’m now fortunate enough to call my stepdaughters. Six years later, he is now my husband, and together, we have two amazing boys who fill our lives with awesomeness and daily adventures involving something dinosaur or poop-related.
My path to motherhood was quite different from what I had imagined. Given my irregular cycles, I had concerns about my ability to conceive naturally. On August 10, 2020, in the middle of the pandemic, I had a feeling I might be pregnant, even though I had just started taking the pill two months prior. I took a test, second-guessed myself, and put the test back in the box. However, the next morning, I pulled it back out and saw the faintest line – a moment that changed everything!
From then on, I was fascinated by the changes happening in my body as I prepared to welcome a baby boy into the world. After experiencing a long and challenging first delivery, my passion for the role of a doula during childbirth grew immensely when I experienced firsthand how supportive and incredible my own doula was throughout my labor.
A couple of years later, after my second birth, I realized that my corporate career was no longer where my heart was; all I wanted was to be home with my babies and pursue a career that I was passionate about. In 2024, I completed my doula training, transitioned out of my corporate design career, and dedicated myself to being a stay-at-home mom while enrolling in fertility and pregnancy nutrition classes.
I am excited to empower and support women on their journey to learn about and take charge of their reproductive and overall health and to genuinely appreciate and celebrate their bodies.
Whether you’re contemplating conception, currently trying, or already expecting, I look forward to supporting you on your path to motherhood!
